
Mandii Pope (b. Amanda Grace Pope 1977) Kiwi Artist Mandii Pope exhibits in Europe, Dubai and the UK, including a significant solo exhibition in Cork Street London. Many works are in private and commercial collections all over the world. Mandii recently completed a large series of commercial spin paintings for numerous prestigious business centres in London.
Mandii has close links with many charities often donating works to fundraise for various causes around the globe including “Hospices of Hope” a Hospice in Brasov Romania, Cancer fundraisers, Grief support, Stem cell treatment and Autism, Christchurch Earthquake Fundraisers for New Zealand, Bagpuss design for the Virgin London Marathon, a 15ft Big Ben BT Artbox for ChildLine’s 25th Anniversary sponsored by Channel 4, a Live Art painting in 2 hours of Buckingham Palace for the King Edward VII Hospital and Darth Vader Gorilla for the Great Gorilla Project.
Her style is versatile, with a variety of styles to cater to different sides of her character such as Cityscapes, Beach Landscapes, Nudes, Fantasy, Pop Art, Abstract, Spin Art with a touch of 80’s retro Kiwiana patriotism. The Cityscapes and Beach landscapes are usually somewhere personally visited, the Nudes and Fantasy Art help keep up her technical skills; the Abstracts and Spin Art are emotive – relating to current affairs and the Kiwiana is a bit of fun for the expats who miss home.
