2014 (Oct - Feb) Christchurch Stands Tall - 

Christchurch Stands Tall is an exciting public arts project on the streets of Christchurch this summer by Wild in Art.

 

Giant fibreglass Giraffe sculptures, reaching 2.5 metres high, are now standing tall on the streets, parks and public spaces of Christchurch and surrounding areas until 24 January 2015.

​

Funds raised go towards the rebuild of Christchurch New Zealand after the earthquakes.

Moa Giraffe sponsored by Dulux New Zealand.

Utilising the organic shape of the sculpture and incorporating one of New Zealand's most iconic extinct birds, the Moa seemed a perfect fit to transform a Giraffe sculpture.

​

Moa Giraffe was situated at Cashmere Park in Christchurch.

How can you not have The Longest Drink in Town as a Giraffe, an iconic brand of New Zealand for the last 50 years or more.

The Longest Girink in Town Giraffe was situated outside a dairy in Tai Tapu, Christchurch.
