The Mayfly/Dragonfly series was created when founding The Dragon Gallery. A series about golden opportunities and making the most of each day. All works are on circular canvas using techniques from fluid pouring to dry brush.
The Butterflies are something more personal.
Works vary in size from 20cm-80cm

Though shalt be tossed out of the nest, and left for other insects to devour, whist the Queen continues to glow in all her golden light and shine on all that those that value and respect her.

In America, one Native American myth suggests that dragonflies were originally dragons. A coyote tricked a dragon into shapeshifting, and it couldn’t change back. As a result, the dragonfly symbolises change, speed, and illusion.
Dragonflies appear in Navajo sand paintings. Where images show them near water, they represent the water’s purity.
