2013 (Oct) A night of Jazz with Nathan Haines at Shaka Zulu Camden

Stevie Ray’s and Shaka-Zulu presents a rare opportunity to see and hear in an intimate environment Nathan Haines discuss the influence of New Zealand on his work with acoustic jazz, modern soul, and electronic music.

We will discuss the difference between recording and live performance, as well as some of his international collaborations such as Jamiroquai, Reel people, Goldie, DJ Fresh, Marlena Shaw, Billy Cobham, and Dave Dobbyn.


Following the interview will be a two set session by the Nathan Haines Quintet:  Nathan Haines – Saxaphone, Mike Patto – Keys, Leon Stenning – Guitar, Davide Giovannini – Drums,  Andy Hamill – Bass
